Week One at The Boat Works
Anui is out of the water for a little while with a manageable task list. How long for? Possibly two weeks but we often underestimate the time it takes to get everything completed, so our answer is “till it is all done”!
Waiting for parts!
We have been at Airlie Beach for 12 days waiting for parts we ordered to arrive, one of them critical for us to get away, and as luck would have it, it is the one we still haven’t got. However there is a ‘but’!
Battery Upgrade to Lithium
We have just upgraded Anui’s battery bank from sealed Lead Acid batteries to Lithium. Why bother? Because it means we need fewer batteries or can have more in about the same space, and those batteries will last longer, cycle deeper, deliver more power, and weigh less.
