Six weeks after purchasing our Walker Bay dinghy (see our earlier post Dinghy Fever), we finally bring it to Take It Easy. Our three day weekend is spent getting it organised to hang on the davits, learning to set it up for sailing and having some fun.
Nothing is more endearing that a Black Swan and its chicks. The striking adult bird (Cygnus atratus) and its cygnets covered in grey down make a common but beautiful sight in Spring in the Gippsland Lakes and are the subject of the #2 Bird Photography Challenge.
The New Holland Honeyeater is an active fast flying bird that rarely sits still long enough to give you time to have a good look at it. So this was a great #1 bird photography challenge.
