Here in the US, they call seals with visible ears and whiskers – “Sea Lions” ; hence, I think they’s want to call Australian fur Seals, Sea Lions – not that it matters much. Beautiful photos! Craig Reply
I think sea lions are different to fur seals – use their front and back flippers differently, external ear flaps etc… Reply
