Our southern migration has begun
After taking Bengie back to the vet, we have left Cairns and are slowly island and reef hopping south. Our southern migration has begun. It feels good to be on our way.

We had hoped to start heading south but have changed our plans. We are staying a little longer for Bengie to see the vet again and luckily are enjoying a calm week at the reefs offshore of Cairns.
Michaelmas Reef Treasures
After some 10 days in Cairns, we enjoyed a small break in the wind – four days of below 15 knots before it returned to 20+. It was time to escape the midges and have some fun at the reef, delighting in colourful treasures at Michaelmas Reef!
