Coral Sea Atolls – Fredericks Reef
Our third destination for this Coral Sea Atolls trip is Frederick Reefs, 80nm WNW from Kenn Reefs, which we reached after an overnight sail. We ended up spending five days there.
Coral Sea Atolls: Kenn Reefs
The second remote reefs in our Coral Sea Atolls 2024 Expedition were the Kenn Reefs, 280nm offshore. We spent a week there.
First Coral Sea Atoll: Wreck Reefs
Our first coral atoll for this trip was Wreck Reefs, a chain of nine separate reefs. It is always a delight to arrive after a long 220nm passage, find a comfortable anchorage, crystal clear water and calm conditions, and of course have the place to ourselves.
