When it comes “Destination” articles in sailing magazines, nothing beats a story about off the beaten track wilderness areas. It has appeal to seasoned sailors as well as to those dreaming of future adventures. And the Tasmanian West Coast is one of those destinations that is less travelled, a bit daunting, yet breathtaking.
Our life took a momentous turn in July 2017, when we moved on board Take It Easy to start our full time cruising life. We put together a summary of our experience for the yachting magazine Australian Multihull World.
We have had another good month for publications! Our articles seem to always cluster around the May to August period, typically after we have returned from holiday cruising and put pen to paper. It might become a little more spread out throughout the year now that cruising is our life!
May and June were big months in the yachting press for Take It Easy, with three articles published. It is always a great feeling to see our stories and photographs in print.
We are freshly back from France and haven’t plotted our next sail yet, but seeing our article published in Australian Multihull World is a great way to shift our focus from family matters to sailing and photography.
