Anui back in Southern waters

This week did not exactly go to plan. We had to bow to the weather gods and stay in Batemans Bay for a few days, before dashing south. But we are now floating around at our favourite Gippsland Lakes.

Back at sea!

After spending 11 days at Batemans Bay Marina we were keen to cover some distance and reach a sheltered, all weather spot before the next northerly blow. So the objective was to avoid the fishing port of Ulladulla, by-pass Jervis Bay, and instead get into the Crookhaven River and anchor at Greenwell Point.

It is funny how staying in marinas has never been our thing; they are expensive, they can be noisy and we’d much rather be anchored in the wild!
