Big milestone this week: we made it into the Gippsland Lakes with a stop at wild Gabo Island on the way. Since then we have been rushing around to catch up with local friends, pick up our guest Trevor, and get the boat ready to go again!
We made it to Eden then Bittangabee on the south coast of NSW and have been in the region for a week, with persistent contrary winds. The long wait is almost over though!
We have been lucky to ride the long window of light northerlies on our passage south. For our second post in the series, we take you just South of Wollongong, while dodging a few mighty thunderstorms.
