Sheltering at Fitzroy Island
We take shelter at Fitzroy Island from a strong wind warning, and are pleasantly surprised by this beautiful island. The highlight: the many turtles!
Off to the Southern GBR
Having spent a week in the Keppels, we left for the Southern Great Barrier Reef early this morning. It’s very exciting to be able to show this magnificent offshore region to our friend Sue and spend time each day exploring the cays and lagoons on our way south.
Ups and Downs
We made it back to the Keppels after three and a half days of spinnaker sailing and are now 220 nm south of the Whitsundays!
