Casting off the mooring lines
This is it: D Day is upon us Today is our last working day for the year. We will be moving on board Take It Easy on Friday, ready for the start of our 8 weeks’ sailing voyage.
Where wild winds blow
The remote outpost of Maatsuyker Island, 10 miles offshore from the wild south coast of Tasmania, was what Mary and David Nicholson called home for a period of six months. These two are yachtie friends of ours and David built our previous catamaran, Medina; so we have followed their amazing endeavour with great interest.
Escapades in Gironde, France
Since our last post from Normandy with my folks, we have headed to the South West to spend a little while with my sister Véronique and husband Didier.
