We have another article published in the March/April edition of the Australian Multihull World magazine! “Reef Hopping, the Stuff of Dreams” shares four of our favourite reef destinations. With the northern migration of cruising yachts soon to start, this might encourage a few of you to head there!
Seeing some of the photos with Take It Easy makes us smile. She was – she still is – so distinctive and we had such great adventures with her. We can’t wait to return to the Reef with Anui.

Congratulations on your latest success, Chris. The article is really informative and the photos are spectacular. You are definitely living the dream. Of course, there is the other side of your life at sea that you have shared that reminds us that style of living has its own set of challenges, to say the least.
Hi Mike – yes cruising the Great Barrier Reef is dreamy. But you are right the flip side is the amount of maintenance which can be a bit nightmarish! I won’t tell you how many times I have re-read my notes and lingered over our reef and underwater images over the past few months to keep our spirits up! It is not all « smooth sailing » but when it is good, it is REALLY good.
